Quit for Good
Quitting smoking takes more than willpower. Our program addresses both the physical and psychological sides of nicotine dependence with medication, counselling, and ongoing support. We celebrate progress at every stage — whether that means cutting down or quitting completely.
Because every step toward a smoke-free life matters.
Understanding the Smoking Cessation Program
An initial assessment, a personalized quit plan, medication or nicotine replacement therapy, behavioural counselling, and regular follow-up appointments.
Options may include nicotine patches, gum, or lozenges, as well as prescription medications like varenicline (Champix®) or bupropion (Zyban®).
Most patients engage in active treatment for 8 to 12 weeks. Follow-up support is available for as long as needed.
Not necessarily. Some patients set a quit date, others reduce gradually. Your care team will help you choose the approach that works best.
Most successful quitters have tried more than once. We review what worked and what did not, and help you build a stronger plan.
Yes. Smoking cessation can be integrated with any of our other programs, including OAT, mental health care, and alcohol treatment.
